2023 Elite Series Caddie Book
The 2023 TruBank Des Moines Challenge (DMC) is presented by Discraft and will be a DGPT Elite Series event. The 2023 DMC Am/Age Protected side will feature over 300 competitors of all skill levels across the Des Moines Metro. This marks the 19th year the DMC has been an A-tier event and the 33rd year of the event in total. The event will continue as a three day, tee time start.
Player Divisions and Entry Fee
CURRENT PDGA MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED TO REGISTER FOR THIS TOURNAMENT.
MPO – $350 – 3 rounds at Pickard Park Gold in Indianola, IA via tee times.
FPO – $350 – 3 rounds at Pickard Park Silver in Indianola, IA via tee times.
MP40 – $125 – One round at three of the following courses via tee times; Walnut Ridge, Ewing, and Pickard.
MP50, MP55, MP60, MP65, FP40, FP50 – $125 – One round at each of these courses via tee times; Walnut Ridge, Grandview, and Ewing.
MA40, MA50, MA55, MA60, MA65, FA40, FA50 – $100 – One round at each of these courses via tee times; Walnut Ridge, Grandview, and Ewing. Each amateur player receives a players pack including event shirt, discs, and additional sponsor items (Package does not include spectator ticket to DGPT event). Titan Disc Golf funny money payouts to top 45% of field.
MA1, MA2, MA3 – $100 – One round at three of the following courses; Walnut Ridge, Big Grandview, Ewing, and Pickard via tee times. Each amateur player receives a players pack including event shirt, discs, and additional sponsor items (Package does not include spectator ticket to DGPT event). FA1, FA2, FA3 – $100 – One round at each of these courses via tee times; Walnut Ridge, Grandview, and Ewing. MPO and FPO (DGPT event)
Monday 6/19
Monday Qualifier – This is a one round unsanctioned qualifying event for entrance into the 2023 TruBank Des Moines Challenge Presented by Discraft. This event abides by PDGA rules and all rules of an elite series event will be in effect. The cost is $50 per person. The total number of tee-time positions available is 48 MPO and 24 FPO. Tee times (foursomes) will begin at 8:00 AM and run through 10:30 AM CT. The top 6 finishers (4 MPO, 2 FPO) of this event move on to play in the Des Moines Challenge starting on Friday, June 23rd. In the case of a tie, a sudden-death playoff will determine the winner. Qualifying winners will pay full event entry cost minus their entry fee for this event into the TruBank Des Moines Challenge Presented by Discraft.
Tee Times will be assigned the week before the event. We will email and post the schedule to DGS. No Re-tries, one round only. Groups must have a minimum of 3 qualifiers in group, non-qualifying players playing practice rounds are not allowed to be part of the qualifier groups.

Friday Night – BroncThrow Presented by DeYarman Ford of Indianola! After the last putt drops head over to hole 5 to watch 16 players attempt to make a 500+ foot hole in one for a brand new Ford Bronco Sport from DeYarman Ford of Indianola.
Saturday 6/24
Round 2 Pickard Park- Tee Times 7:30am- 4pm
$250 CTP for MPO and FPO players on Hole 5 Presented by GEICO Des Moines.
Fly-Mart at tournament central starting at 7pm including a Putt for Dough contest, live airing of Matt Schlabach’s Steak Battle, and the Accretion Disc Golf Charity Kickball Game benefiting EDGE!
Sunday 6/25
Round 3 Pickard Park – Tee Times 7:30am- 4pm
$500 CTP for MPO and FPO players on Hole 5 Presented by GEICO Des Moines.
Awards ceremony immediately following final round of each division on hole 18.
